I’m an Indiana native now living in Wyoming. Molding the minds of high school & community college students was my profession for 6 years as a history teacher before leaving that career for a life of ministry. I was on staff at a church in West Virginia before landing with our new family at First Christian Church. Since arriving in Wyoming, I’ve become a Chaplain with local law enforcement, and spend as much time in the mountains hiking, skiing, hunting, and fly fishing as time allows. I have two amazing children, Eli & Savannah.
A life centered on God is what I struggle to live everyday and I believe God's Word, his love letter written to us, will continue proving to be all sufficient in all areas of ministry and life at FCC.

Rayna Barker
Minister of spiritual formation
I have served at FCC since 2008, and am experiencing great joy in working with adults as we pursue God together. I came to faith in Jesus Christ at age 14 where God began shaping my heart for ministry through a love for His Body, the Church. My husband Kevin and I enjoy life with our sons Corbin and Luke, who often accompany me as we hike, bike, and enjoy the outdoors. I am most content hiking to a secluded place in nature where I can connect with God and read a book. God has called me to the specific task of equipping others for the work of ministry, and has given me a passion for developing our awareness of and hearts for disciple-making. One of my greatest joys is seeing how God makes his presence known in the midst of difficult circumstances.

Angie bauer
administrative assistant
I am a Montana girl by birth but have become a Wyoming girl by time and choice. I happily call Laramie my home now. I have lived here since 1994. I have always believed in God, but it was in Laramie that He completely captured my heart and started my journey to follow Him and His ways.
God has put a passion in me to help others. I have gone to school for Psychology with an emphasis on Social Work. I believe that this was a calling from God as there is so much need for this. Really, my heart just wants to help other hearts. I feel that I can put that calling to use with my job at the Church as well. I have a big heart and big shoulders that I can offer others.

Becky Brix
Bookeeper
I joined the staff in April 2014 as bookkeeper. I came to Laramie for college in 2007, where I completed a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business and went on to finish up a Master's in Agriculture with an emphasis in Youth Development/Community Development in Extension. When not busy serving at church, I can be found working one of my many other jobs or volunteering with Special Olympics - Laramie, or baking sugar cookies. I live with my sister, Meghan Mae and have two fur babies, Henderson, the crazy cat and Sydney, the old lady mini Australian shepherd. I have attended a great variety of churches over the course of my life - growing up on ranches and in rural communities - whatever church was available was the one we attended.
